from our founder born in the pit lane. — riya daga, founder & ceo, p1 skincare founder ⷠp1 riya racecar driver ⷠusc ⷠp1 hi, i'm riya. i built p1 because nothing on shelf was made for the way i actually live. i race cars. i travel constantly. i'm a student at usc running this brand between classes. my skin was breaking out from sweat in a closed cockpit, and no product was built for that. so i made one. the problem. i started racing at 14. by the time i was wearing fireproof gear in the middle of summer, my skin was wrecked. sweat pouring down my face, closed cockpit, heat radiating off the asphalt, no sink in sight, nothing to wipe with, and no time between sessions. i'd sprint to the track bathroom during lunch breaks and try anything i could carry in my race bag. sheet masks dripping under my helmet. wipes that left residue in my eyes. cleansers i couldn't rinse off. nothing worked, because nothing was built for it.
